I bought a used R24 probably 5 years ago. I never had the time to learn how to use it. Never got the manual. I'm retired now. I have the time now! So thanks. ThankYouVeryMuch.

I felt I had to comment to say thank you for taking the time to create these videos!! After basically giving up on using the zoom for recording, having tried so many times to make sense is the manual, I am so excited that I can finally make use of something that cost me a lot of money as I also invested in some quality mackie monitors and a decent condenser mic, all of which Have not had much use, as I completely lost now. I'm jumping around with excitement after watching your vids, because not only can I follow it, I understand what you mean!! Thank you so much!!!

Just want to say that I would be completely lost without your videos. There are people who may be know everything about the device, that doesn’t mean they can TEACH someone how to use it. YOU are a GREAT teacher. Thank you so much! Just got my R24 and finished watching Part 1 (now watching Part 2). Looking forward to watching all your videos.

Topdazzle, great tutorial dude. I have the Zoom R8, the little brother to the 24 and basically everything you showcase here applies to the R8.

I'm extremely happy with my Zoom as you probably are with yours. As a lone musician, this recorder is invaluable in allowing me to capture every moment of inspiration I can muster. I record a drums track (included), then add bass, guitar, keyboard and vocals. The effects are great and mastering a breeze.

Thanks for your good work and keep 'em coming!

You Sir are a legend. I bought mine last week and just followed part 2 -Basic recording and completed an original song in just over 3 hours. I would never have done that following the manual. Thanks mate.

THANK YOU for posting all of your videos about the Zoom R24 recorder! I can't begin to tell you how helpful these videos are for helping me use this wonderful machine! Without your videos, I'd be totally LOST and I wouldn't know what to do, lol! I was able to start using the Zoom almost right away, thanks to your very clear, easy to follow instructions. Thanks again! I think you are a great teacher! :)

I bought one of these a few years ago and have used it to put down and some song ideas and even did a demo for my band . After not using it for so long I forget some of the simple functions, these videos make it easy to follow along and see. "Ahaa" that's how you do it .. The manual helps, but I learn best by watching others ... Thanks for making these Videos.

Ive had mine since this video came out and still use this device. It never fails and always works, no crashes, glitches, auto updates, and all the other issues software has..plus i can bring it and record bands live without computers. I think this device is better for recording and getting your ideas down and if you want use software for later but even then, i dont use software for recording, mastering, etc. and im 37, its not like im 60 or something.

Excellent tutorial ! I'm using an R8 but this is quite applicable . After 3 days of struggling with the manual, youve made this recorder MUCH easier to understand with this video series . It's appreciated !

Well done brother...I went to college for music production and engineering about 25 years ago and have been out of the "recording" business for about 10 years to pursue other interests. I just recently have had the bug to begin creating and recording music again and came across this zoom r24 and have been wondering whether I should by it and if it's sounds good or is it too good to be true...your video's have dusted all the old cobwebs off of my brain and have showed me that the zoom r24 is indeed a wonderful and powerful tool to create and record music with. Thank-you for creating such in depth tutorials to show all of us how to jump right in and begin using this wonderful machine. I can't wait to watch the next ones in the series especially the ones that have to do with the sampler.

This is still a really great interface many years after it was made. I’m surprised companies haven’t tried to duplicate this kind of digital recorder/interface/control surface hybrid for current software. Thank you so much for this tutorial series, it’s a selfless thing you did that really helps out the audio community.

Thanks for taking the time to create and post these lessons my friend, excellent job! With the ability to be involved with such low cost but high quality technology (R24) and communications (YouTube)... I stay amazed.

Just bought an R24 today and glad I found this series. I already figured out this part on my own and recorded a bassline, lead vocal and harmony tracks to test it and a new mic. I'll be watching the more advanced videos in the series for sure. Super excited to have this thing.
