Global MBA Digital Week Competition 2021 | ESSEC Highlights

The fourth edition of the Digital Week Competition (DWC) for the Global MBA Program, organised by Valérie DAILLY, was held from March 29th to April 2nd in both Cergy and Singapore Campuses. As for the DWC for the Advanced Master Program, it is one week of competition between Digital « Agencies » on real business cases which regrouped this year 66 students.

21 teams of 3 to 4 students from the Global MBA from Cergy and Singapore were all considered as young digital consultants and briefed on the Monday by 7 companies on 7 different digital issues : Candriam, FM Logistic, L’Oréal Luxe, MHD France & MHD Malaysia, Orange Business Services and Vacheron Constantin.

On Friday, the 21 « agencies » were to pitch their strategic, operational and creative work so as to convince their « company-client ».
If they were selected they would re-pitch in the afternoon to win either the Cergy or Singapore « Grand Prix ».
This year it is L’Oréal Luxe for Cergy Campus and FM Logistic for Singapore Campus that were elected the best pitches.

The Digital Week Competition is part of the big strategic pedagogic path of ESSEC and illustrates perfectly the « learning by doing » principle.
