A special thanks to one of my teachers, Dr. Logan Skelton, for introducing me to this amazing arrangement by George Shearing. I originally heard him perform it as an encore to his all-Bartok concert at the home of Wilhelm Kempff in beautiful Positano, Italy. It was an amazing experience hearing this, while behind us we could see the Mediterranean filled with sailboats and yachts and the moon lit everything up beautifully. It's an experience I'll never forget!

Josh what beautiful playing. Transcriptions have always been played-Yuja Wang playing Tatums Tea for two for example. Now if you could play an Oscar Peterson Blues etude you would be following in the footsteps of not only Yuja but Earl Wild, Stephen Hough and Busoni.Josh, I think that tour a great pianist and it nice to see something played outside of the box as an encore.
