Who is Mr. Sam?

Many of you have probably seen Sam on Cleetus McFarland's YouTube channel but not many know just how he got involved with the Cleetus crew! We sat down with Sam and got to know just how that happened and more about his life with cars. We love any opportunity we have to talk with Sam. Such an awesome and genuine guy!

Man you got to LOVE this guy !!! I am 74 years old and have been a gear head all my life. From working in a machine shop to tool and die. And have ran pro stock with some of the greats. I had my own machine shop and engine rebuilding shop for over 30 years. He is living my dream with those guys with Cleetus McFarland. You go Sam !!!!

So awesome you did this feature. Sam has always been in the background of Cleetus’ videos. But, this interview showed what a genuinely kind, intelligent man he really is. He’s definitely someone I’d want in my life, so it’s understandable why Garrett wanted him around, as well.

Our Ultimate SLEEPER Turbo Marauder Is Done and It's INSANE!!!
Sam is driving & gases it up with 1 hand on the wheel for a bit, the laughter was pure pure joy.

I'll never forget when Cletus and crew started first taking off and James bought that big house and he comes into the shop talking about his next door neighbor It's this cool guy He's got a Corvette and a bunch of other cool stuff just a cool dude... A real Legend right there!! Humble, honest, sincere, knowledgeable and willing to teach. Doesn't get much better. I love the shows (Cleetus, 1320, CJRC, and the others). My wife gets bored of it all, but she likes Mr. Sam too. We need to protect that man and keep him alive as long as possible.
