Of course, they have British accents for no reason.

0:12 She said "Who doesn't love a little contest?" Which is a relief because at first I thought she said "He does love a little contest" talking about Bologne, not realising how patronising she was being.

0:19 Wasn't the head Paris Opera the position that he ended up loosing because the operas three main divas wrote to Marie Antoinette saying that their "conscience and delicate nature" wouldn't allow them to take order from "the mulatto man"?
I mean there's no way the movie can't mention that, we've seen him try to be excepted by being 'remarkable', that story would just go to show that it sadly doesn't matter how good he is or how hard he works, they'll never see him beyond his skin colour.

Does anyone know when Chevalier will be released on DVD and BLURAY?

Spoiler alert!!! There's a scene where Joseph gets passed over for a position in a clear case of racism and he goes on a drunken rant. I feel like that whole scene or situation could have been written with much more dignity, instead it was written like some high school mean-girl drama. Also, in the movie he gets his married mistress pregnant, and I guess that's plausible but I don't know if that part was actually true. I just think it would have been a much better movie if it would have focused on his many positive accomplishments..
