Miners Revenge 2022: Hardest race I have ever done!!

This was physically the hardest race I have done. I signed up for the 2 lap and really questioned myself after 1 if I wanted to continue. SPOILER: I did. I am happy I stuck it out and really tried to enjoy myself on the 2nd lap. Total just over 12 miles and 2k+ of elevation gain. If you are out to test yourself, check out this race. The trails were so scenic and amazing. I am not really a racer but these trails had some history to them. From riding thru the old ruins of mining buildings long gone to the old foundations littering the hillsides to being able to ride right through part of the old mine (Adventure Mine). The trails were well maintained and you can tell a ton of work went into the building of these trails. My hats off to the trail crew for all their hard work and efforts!
I even got to chat with a couple. One of my clips where I talk to one of the builders on course unfortunately got corrupted. Such a scenic area to ride in.

The Adventure Copper mine was opened in 1850 and closed in 1920. Over 100 years ago!!

Bikes: 2013 Giant Trance. added 31mm rims and 2.4" tires for wider traction. Couldn't fit any wider in the narrow forks.
2014 Surly Moonlander with clown shoe rims and Bud and Lou 4.8" rubber!
