This Boeing's Next Aircraft Just Shocked Everyone NOW! Here's Why
This is definitely the MOST anticipated news of the past week! After multiple delays and considerations, the LEGENDARY manufacturer of US aircraft dropped a SHOCKING announcement: a brand-new aircraft program is set to KICK OFF and be built right at the company's ‘’home base’’ in Washington. SURPRISING, right? But that’s not all - Boeing has also revealed a MASSIVE deal involving around 33,000 employees at Renton and Everett. A new project with a BLOCKBUSTER deal - it's drama!
So, how will this project be shocking? Can this new aircraft help Boeing take the leading aircraft manufacturer position back after a series of failures? Let's dive in!
This Boeing's Next Aircraft Just Shocked Everyone NOW! Here's Why
First of all, let’s see how the new aircraft program was revealed.
Boeing has confirmed their next commercial aircraft will be built in Seattle. The agreement explicitly states that the company will commit to providing a new commercial aircraft and all derivative products throughout the project's duration within the scope of the Alliance's authority. This includes all elements of the program, such as final assembly and manufacturing assembly, generally, major components like distribution operations, interior component manufacturing, wiring, as well as auxiliary parts, to name just a few of the many aspects involved in aircraft manufacturing.
This Boeing's Next Aircraft Just Shocked Everyone NOW! Here's Why
Rumors about Boeing's plans to release a new type of aircraft began to emerge in the late 2 thousand and 10's. By the mid-2020's, Boeing identified that the market was large enough to warrant a new design. Several leading airlines also expressed interest in a mid-range jet, leading to a debate over whether to develop a larger variant of the 737 Max or an entirely new aircraft design, which later became known as the Boeing 797.

Finally you talk about Boeing changing the aviation industry rather than Airbus

Other observers are quite clear about the announcement.

It only says what will happen IF AND ONLY IF a new aircraft is developed within a certain time. It is not a guarantee that it will happen.

Having said that, Boeing could be on the way out if it isn't!

While the A321 falls short on the expected capacity of the 797/NMA, it will only manage that with the new and more powerful engines. These would, of course, be available to Airbus, who could then stretch the A321 to reduce or even eliminate the shortfall.

There is also the possibility that the new engines could be ready years before Boing can get their new aircraft operational. This would not prevent Airbus taking advantage and having their upgraded and enhanced A320 series operational up to a decade before Boeing.

They would then have the luxury of waiting to see what Boeing will have on offer and how to react to it.

Not replacement of the 757 but boeing's answer to rival the airbus a321xlr (but they are a bit late the a321xlr is just entering service).

Anyone can simulate an aircraft... keeping it in the air is a different matter!

Airbus is 3 steps ahead of Boeing and also works on 3 new aircraft types..

They didn't say that AT ALL. In our union contract that we rejected, they promised that we would build any next generation in the pnw, ONLY IF, they announced it during this 4 year contract. They will not be building a new plane that early, or even announcing one with how much shit they've buried themselves in, they have so many issues with their current fleet they literally cant afford to design a new one. It would cost upwards of 30 billion dollars to do so, and during our strike, they're currently hemorrhaging up to a billion a WEEK.

New problems will appear. I met a drunk Boeing worker in a hostel in Hawaii. He was a major alcoholic. And there where it starts…

So nothing new, Boeing said long time ago that they will wait for next generation engines.

Wow. Boeing has announced it’s plans to copy an Airbus A321. XLR NEO. Only It’s 15 years too late. Just another story to keep them relevant ( allegedly ) it will never happen.

I think they first should start working and resolve all the problems they have!😅

Ah. A "New type of Aircraft". Will it appear before 2040 or is the market introduction delayed again ? They should fix their quality issues in first place. *Then* talk about the future.

Why are all headlines on YouTube lies?

Talk is cheap. Too little too late. Forget Boeing.

Sorry but... what is the shocking part in this news?

Boeing has already done irreversible damage , and will most certainly have to reinvent itself from the ground up, if that’s even possible .. I think Uncle Sam will also eventually get tired of bailing these clowns out .. Their brand name is now basically known throughout the aircraft industry as an incompetent unsafe aircraft manufacturer .. I personally decided to unloaded my entire holdings of Boeing stock months ago, , and I’m so glad I did.. Time to buy into Air Buss kids 😊
