Best Android Wallpaper Apps | Top tips for customisation

Here's how to customise your Android smartphone's wallpaper with some of the best free paper apps on Google Play. Personalise your mobile with a huge catalogue of backgrounds, whatever you're into. These apps will automatically refresh your wallpaper for you, while also serving up a great selection of pics to download to your mobile.

I’d definitely recommend grabbing an app called Wallpaper Changer, which can cycle through a folder of pics, updating your background on your behalf.

One of my other favourites is Resplash, another completely free to use wallpaper app that serves up loads of high quality backdrops for your Android smartphone. An older wallpaper app that’s still well worth checking out is Walli, which allows you to set up a playlist of your favourite wallpapers discovered through the app.

I also really like the very similarly titled WalP, which offers a classic collection of smartphone papers from throughout the ages - Pixel, OnePlus, Samsung, Nokia and lots of other brands are represented. And if you’re a fan of those OnePlus designs, definitely check out Abstruct, which features a bundle of colourful designs from the official creator of those iconic images.

An all-in-one customisation solution that’s been around awhile now is Zedge. This serves up a massive selection of icons, wallpapers and other bits to tweak and personalise your Android handset. And if you’re a PC or Xbox user then you may be interested in Backiee, also known as Wallpaper Studio 10, which can sync your backgrounds across your smartphone and other devices.

And don’t forget that there’s also a dedicated Google Wallpapers app for Android, which is simple and easy to use.

Cover camera lens. Take picture. Set as wallpaper. All black uses less battery regardless of device and makes viewing in direct sunlight easier as well as less bluelight on eyes at night that disrupts sleep cycle. Cheers
