My headcanon is that Burntrap is Jeremy's (the beta tester, not the bite of 87 victim) body but since (i think) he's possessed by Glitchtrap, it's like William Appleton in his body.

I believe burntrap is a seaperate entity, might be aimic who witness afton, then became like him glitchtrap style, and miketrap (while willy is still the killer) is canon.

Here’s what I think about Glitchtrap, Burntrap, and the Mimic. Glitchtrap is a piece of William Afton’s soul created when Fazbear Entertainment scanned Springtrap. The real William Afton was still in UCN. Glitchtrap then used Glamrock Bonnie’s endo to make Burntrap and bring back the original Afton. The Mimic is something else entirely
