Dynamic Dashboard Portal Example in SSRS

This shows you how to create a portal stye dashboard in SSRS..
You can see from the short video that the menu bar populates, allows navigation to appropriate linked pages, changes background colour to show which page you are visiting, and provides the illusion to the end user that they have not left the original report.

When creating these, I usually call the main entry page XXXX - Home, and then the others XXXXX- something more specific. When i deploy to the report server itself, I hide all but the Home report to avoid cluttering up the area, and it also helps maintain the illusion of having one point of entry, which in my humble opinion, provides a better user experience.
