Saagar, I live in a small town near Tulsa. We added 28 cases here last week (total population 3, 000) and Trump’s rally is Saturday. Trump has lots of supporters here. We only had 3 cases prior. Here in OK Republicans identify with no shut down, no face masks, and shake my hand. I don’t want to die.

Why did they both fail to mention that the Trump team is requiring people to sign a waiver....also Trump has intentionally made his supporters believe that wearing a mask is necessary, so they will all be in an enclosed space without masks on, this will pose way more of a risk than those at a protest outside wearing masks....I like Krystal, but I feel like she let's Sagger get away with alot of screwed analysis without truly challenging him.

Protests are civil disobedience rallies that demand necessary changes. Trump rallies are celebrations of the current situation that right now demands social distancing.
So these two things are not exactly equal when it comes to the social distancing measures, nor should they be treated as the same.
