The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro is even better at strafing now (Razer Snap Tap)

Показать описание
The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL is already pretty awesome thanks to features like adjustable actuation levels, a rapid trigger for super fast action and even an analog mode that works as a replacement for your gaming controller.

But now it's even better thanks to a firmware update which is adding in a feature called "Snap Tap". This is essentially an improvement to the strafing via the A and D keys, which means you can send a signal to the keyboard by holding A down, for example, to strafe left, but then if you want to quickly move right you can tap D and as soon as you release it again you'll move left again. This means faster strafing and quicker pro movements.

Razer says if you're having issues:

"The new Huntsman V3 firmware was rolled out in readiness for the scheduled update of Synapse, which allows Snap Tap to be controlled within Synapse itself.

Users running the new firmware, but waiting for the Synapse update, can still use Snap Tap by simply exiting Synapse and use the keyboard short cut of FN + Left Shift to turn Snap Tap on and off.

After the Synapse update, within Synapse, users will see a button on the actuation page allowing them to toggle Snap Tap on and off.

If a user has not updated their Huntsman V3 firmware, they can still use Snap Tap, but only when running the new version of Synapse."

Updated to firmware version 1.04 which just released today and can confirm along with others in the comments that fn and shift isn't lighting up A or D.

Wait so it won't even apply to W and S keys? That is also important especially in Overwatch.

Snap tap does not work for me. Got the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini.

Updated firmware and software with both having release version of this date 9th of July.

Do you think the Huntsman V2 Linear Switch with 8, 000 polling rate matches the snap tap 1, 000 polling rate?

If anyone boughjt this I am having issues with razer app running and it will cause my KB program to freeze and it will make me strafe by itself. Curious if anyone figure out a fix.

Honestly rapid trigger and analogue switches are a bit of a gimmick. For the amount of money they cost, I'd rather get something that has hot swappable switches.

Proprietary switches, really bad software that lacks a lot of customization, the fact that you have to install software, etc. I'll keep my Wooting 60HE+.

This lowers the strafing skillgap in games.... I dont support this :( Honestly I hope games ban this.
