Thank you, the. Last part helped me. I started light bleeding two weeks ago. It smells bit funny, but I've been changing my pad and even leaking a light blood into my underwear. I'm 44 and I thought I was going to get my period but to be honest I thought it was too soon from my last. I feel like something is going inside my uterus and light cramping but the discharge sensation worries me. I thought I was a light period but two weeks now. Making Dr. Appt tomorrow.

I am 53 and have been spotting/bleeding for 17 days straight. My gyno ordered an endometrial biopsy which I tested negative for cancer and so she prescribed provera to regulate the bleeding. I also missed my period for the first time ever. I have read about perimenopausal spotting but for 17 days straight?!!! I feel that my doctor should conduct more tests as well as a par smear. What are your thoughts? Change doctors or is this all a normal phase as i approach menopause? Help!
