Excellent work using this tour's video. Easily the best version. I was there (when he played in Detroit) and it changed a 15 year old kid's life. Amazing show.

Nice drums! Fun.
Phil Collins' Serious Hits Live In Berlin July 15, 1990 has the crowd eating out of his hand with a nice guitar solo by Daryl. The Phenix Horns are spot on. May be his best concert. Check it out.

My first time seeing Phil solo in concert. 3 nights in Chicago, Poplar Creek for this tour. Absolutely outstanding concerts. Phil and his Hot Tub Club lol

Great live versions of Easy Lover are from Serious Hits....live from 1990 and also Live and Loose in Paris from 1997.

Another song from Face Value that shows the diversity in his songwriting. Uptempo piece that really lifted the mood. This combination of horns, electronics, percussion and brilliant musicianship such as Daryl's guitar work really was quite innovative and unique in it's day. Phil's piece on the kit just an easy piece. Vocals and entertainment value top notch.

Behind the lines (Genesis) but you would react to Phil's version on Face Value album

Good use of the horn section here. I didn't expect them to be integrated with the percussion like that.

"She's an A hole!" once you've heard it thats it man! Seriously tho, love your work bro. Epic music!

This shows Phil's love for 2 styles of music. Phil loves the Motown sound and soul so the horns fill that role. The second is his love of jazz fusion (check out his work with Brand X) and this also fulfills that love of his as well. I've always enjoyed this song. What kills me about Phil's style of drumming is it's so not flashy you know? Us layman who don't play drums or understand music look for flash, something to give us a visual or a dose of intensity so we can say "wow that was awesome he's great". Phil doesn't ever do that. Fans will say he's a great drummer of course but that's a biased opinion. The true test is whether musical peers view him as great and in that regard, Phil is 9 times out 10 on that list. He isn't going to try to impress you with flash or blast beats, he's just going to do the complicated timings and rhythmic drumming in such a way that his expertise can and often is missed by the casual listener or someone who is just looking (or listening) for speed and power. Just look to those early Genesis records and you know he's among the best in his understated and workmen approach to the drum kit.

Only complaint... it was too short. This was so good.🙂

Listen to Mama, Live. He’s at his peak. His voice, the screams, it’s great. You’ll love it!!

Love this song. Hope you listen to Behind The Lines on your own to hear how different it is from the Genesis version.

Firewind - The fire and the fury is a both earth melting and heart melting heavy metal instrumental, a gem from one of the many Ozzy Osbourne line up guitarist Gus G. It has two parts, one has the full attack heaviness and menace the other hopelessly beautifull slow and melow. Pls get to react to that !

Great great performance of this awesome instrumental. Try the But seriously tour version (1990), it's even better in my opinion. Try "And so to f..." (Brand X song) and "The west side".

Sounds like something Peter Gabriel would do.

Easy Lover is a good Live performance at the first Final Farewell. Of course no Phillip Bailey, but it’s very playful
