Fwiw the Blue Snowball is kinda bad if you dont have a mic arm. It is very sensitive and picks up everything in your room and every vibration on your desk. Probably better to go for a yeti.

Blue Yeti (or in fact any of their products) are such a beginner trap to fall for. I personally recommend running a MPM1000-U (the U standing for USB so no XLR connection which will lower sound quality but not require an additional converter) as an entry-level microphone available for about $70 tital if you include a relatively basic boom arm.
No Yeti crap, avoid that at all costs!
