My grandfather actually was assigned to take secret pictures whilst in Berlin during ww2 . His kit and pictures are at my towns museum .

Oh, there's lots of connections between Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and James Bond. The same author, the same movie producers, the same actor playing the villain, both feature cars with spy tech, hot chicks... maybe I should stop there. Anyway, it's almost like a Bond movie for kids.

That radio in the shoe reminded me of the old T.V. show Get Smart. If anyone recalls, agent Maxwell Smart had his phone concealed in his shoe. In fact here is a quick history lesson. During the Iran hostage crisis, the Iranian "student's " took thier captives shoes away because some of them had seen episodes of that show, and thought all American's had phones hidden in thier shoes. (Note to the younger generations, this show took place before cell phones became common).
