I have this 8 cup and the biggest problem with it is the center post doesn't come off like most food processors. You can't properly clean it if it is attached to the motor base. The 11 or larger cup is better because the post comes off.

I believe you are to keep the push blade on the cabbage until totally sliced, so nothing flies out of the unit.

Thank you, thank you, I have not used my slicing disc since I got my food processor for Christmas, last year. I didn't realize the disc sits about 1/2 inch from the top of the bowl opposed to the bottom. I also, didn't realize you have to push the food through the shredding dish, for some reason I recall my mother's food processor shredding her vegetables to the bottom without having to push it through the disc. Great video and camera angle, thank you

I just bought this & my bowl will not clamp in place? It easily turns forward & backwards. The tiny button doesn’t click & hold it. Jeanne
