Dr. Cheah serves as the current President of Malaysian Biomedical Science Association, BiomedKL and Korean Government Scholarship Programme Alumni, Malaysia. Dr. Cheah is an established scientist with more than 200 scientific publications in international and peer-reviewed journals and serves as the Editorial Board of Malaysian Journal of Medicine and Health Sciences. He leads more than 15 research projects funded by public and private agencies. Dr. Cheah was awarded as the Young Researcher’s Award in 2007, recipient of the outstanding academic achievement and promising career development, 19th Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biologist (FAOBMB) Seoul Conference, COEX Center, Seoul, Republic of Korea, 2007, and won a total of 3 Gold, 11 Silver and 10 Bronze medals in various local and international research exhibition. Dr. Cheah also successfully filed 3 patents and 1 copyright.
