Thanks very much. I'm comfortable with Python syntax and just wanted a quick introduction to mariadb and this was perfect! Followed this utilizing a Raspberry Pi 3+ with Buster installed and worked like a champ.

Sadly, everything I can learn in nine minutes I can forget in one minute.
Great tutorial, just what I needed.
It would help if the source code was bigger. It's a nuisance having to keep switching to and from full screen when you are copying code. I expect a lot of people using this tutorial are, like me, coding a headless Raspberry Pi using VNC viewer on a laptop, which makes window resizing a bit of a pain.
