To be honest, I didn't really fold my XM4's much at all. Even with the old case they basically laid flat. So the non fding style I can live with

I've finally got my XM5 (for 359.99 euros), and i'm loving it, so light, so comfortable, I'm using LDAC so I can get the best sound quality, and very important I can use the equalizer to my preference. I do have a pair of AirPods Max, but the trouble is that I live in Portugal, and here the temperatures can reach 109º Fahrenheit in the summer, I started to have a condensation problem on my AirPods Max, and with just a few minutes on my ears, finally after 2 months the condensation build on the drivers made it fail on the right cup, so I returned the AirPods Max, waiting for them to arrive from Apple repair service and as soon as they arrive I will sell them online. Apple please learn with other brands, going for stainless steel and aluminium is a wrong move, and that's why most of the brands go for plastic or composite materials. The Apple ones are very heavy and bulky, and like me, many people complaining about Apple AirMax, having condensation build up inside the cups and on the drivers too, making them fail over time, and thats because aluminium dissipates heat better, the difference in temperature creates condensation, and they are not water proof.

the audio engineer did a in depth sound test and concluded after EQ the xm5's sound better and can be more balanced with their superior drivers, and that monster battery life as well!. keep in mind that, the xm5's like all sony audio products will be discounted by $100 - $150 within a month after release, xm4's are $250 on ebay and have been since 2 months after release.. making the xm5's/xm4's demolish the airpod max's when you consider value at all.

8:15 - 8:23 That’s where we disagree is this video. The AirPods Max sound quality is not better. I’m sorry. Out of the box, XM5’s sound quality is significantly better. Also the XM5’s support Lossless Audio. The AirPods Max or any other Apple headphones 🎧 don’t support 🤦🏽‍♂️. How are reviewers not telling people this??? I’m a huge Apple Fan, and was shocked 😳 when I found that out. I gotta plug in my headphones Jack adapter, but I’m telling you it makes a huge difference!!!! Then the Sony app only makes it better. I’m sorry Apple has a ways to catch up frfr.

Awesome review and video I loved the XM 5 when I tried them out but the new air pods seem really nice and looks great also both just too high for me to afford right now. Nice video..If you choose one Sony XM5/Bose NC 700/Sennheiser Momentum 4 overall comes in sound quality/build quality/comfort/battery life and charging/features/app/touch controls panels and why please?

One of the few neutral reviews from an American, I've heard with my B&W PX7 both headphones and Sony beats Apple on clarity and mid and high frequences. About build quality, going metal is not a good way, thats why most of the headphones on the market go for plastic or composite materials, as many people know the Apple ones are so heavy and theres that deal breaker problem with the condensation on the ear cups that will give you problems later on. cheers

Unfortunately, I live in Russia, and here AirPods max costs really a lot! 1100$ for them. Suddenly Sony have stopped business in Russia, and there's no opportunity buying them. Last week my cousin actually went to usa for two weeks, and i wanna ask him to buy one of those. But it became a real problem because i can't listen to them and compare on my own. Anyway, despite my personal problems, thank you for the video, it was very informative.

This design is definitely more comfortable so light they feel cheap or the will about to break....I put the max throught the ringer and not a scratch just need to wash the earcups they are gym approved💯💪🏽

Sweet 🦾. Gotta grab a pair of the XM’s $$$$. Eventually like the llook and design of the 5S. (Just from looking at them)
-Holding them & feeling the weight etc. is a huge difference and can change our minds. (Any products the heavier we figure better manufactured, not always true ) I want to try both lol. Great video

bought the Apple - honestly sounded good (nothing special), however, it was HEAVY and i did feel that A LOT, and returned them (also to add did love the feel). seen the XM5 - my God i love the bendiness of them, the feel of them and how insanely light they are! adore the functions they have (super responsive) and battery sound quality: superb - i feel they are way better than the apple! overall better choice!
