Meet the updated ROG Ally X

Asus just announced the new version of their gaming handheld, the ROG Ally X.
And with a much bigger battery, more comfortable grips, more RAM and storage, they pretty much addressed all of our pain points with the sleek mobile gaming console.
While it will be a while until we get a proper review sample in our hands, I will follow up with an early impressions video during my stay in Taiwan, so let me know if you have any questions about this puppy!

Take the majorly increased RAM capacity and speed, the significantly improved cooling, the upgraded ports.

Take all that, and ignore it, because it's 4 mm thicker, 10% heavier and for that, it packs literally twice as much battery capacity. 80 Wh is *insane*. There are 16" Legion laptops with comparable- or smaller, battery capacities. We are talking easy 5 hours at 15 W of TDP. This would be the watershed moment to convince people to go for it over a SteamDeck.

In the UK the retail price for the X will be £800 😣 but the original ROG ally can be £500-550 for a a few months.

Hi man, i have a question for u, u can make a benchmark in 2024 of the medion erazer major x10 ? With the Arc 730m beacouse they say, that it can beat the 4060 laptop but the arc is also with 12gb of Vram

asus if you’re actually listening and not just talking out your 🍑 you need to create an exchange program for any customer that bought the ally to ally x because you shipped a faulty product that has an sd card slot that inevitably fails prematurely no matter how it’s repaired and you know it.
