Dozer pulling out a stuck 4x4 tractor | Caterpillar D8R

Dozer pulling out a stuck 4x4 tractor. Benny uses the Caterpillar D8R to pull out this huge 8 wheel 4X4 tractor. It was stuck deep in the mud while hooked up to a massive disc.
This was earlier this summer where they were doing some ground work around where the logging happened over the winter.
I didn't see it get stuck, and arrived just in time to watch him pull Joel out if the mud onto higher ground. I was surprised at how deep the mud was, as well as the length of the winch cable.

Amazing how powerful that dozer winch is. Don't think the tractor operator should have gone anywhere near that area. Thanks for showing us the rescue.

I think I would have stayed away from that part of the field until the soil conditions improved. It looked like there was higher ground that could have been worked up without getting stuck. jmo
