Hey I need some advice from anyone who can give me help.

First off I’m a younger guy with pretty straight hair around thin to medium thickness and I have around 3 inches of hair length at the moment.

The reason I need advice is that I want a different more modern haircut/hairstyle but my barber who is actually pretty good just he only gives me classic shorter styles. That being said I want hair around 5 inches long and something more modern but he won’t be able to cut that nor would my parents let me have a haircut like that anyway or take me to another barber.

That being said I have two questions so need advice on, what haircut should I go for and what should I do about my current barber?

Low taper is a npc cut and most barbers mess it up and for the buzz cut you need quite square facial features for it to look good
