I’d like to add an important tip which you may have covered or somebody probably already mentioned in the comments. And that is to put your iPhone or whatever smart phone you are using in airplane mode. It would be ashamed to have great footage interrupted by text messages or a call from your mom to ask you where you are.

I'm pretty new at YouTube. Currently use my iPhone 6 to make videos. And truth be the told the quality isn't that bad. It works. Recording outside or near the window always does the job.

Great video Jeven! I think so many people overlook using their phone to get started on their channel (or even for B-Roll) There's been times when the footage of the iPhone X in 4K has looked better than our Canon M50!

Thanks a lot for all your advice & suggestions. I do cooking videos. I don’t have a good camera so I use my iPad to video shoot. All I have is a tripod, some lights as suggested by Nick Nimmin and I do voice over using my headphones. Please can you advise me which microphone to use for my iPad? Thanks 🙏🏽

I started my channel and got 1000 subscribers using only my smartphone and a gimbal.
I made one video with a camera, but haven't even uploaded it yet.
Everything on my channel has been filmed, edited and uploaded straight from my phone.
It's much easier carrying a phone in and out of abandoned buildings

Great vid, guys! I've been using my s9+ to shoot and edit our videos exclusively since january and I'm loving it! I use kinemaster and for storage I actually use a Lacie rugged external drive to offload directly from my phone. I edit our videos while commuting to and from my day job so this entire setup is perfect. Thanks again for this video and keep rockin it! ❤️ 🙌

We shoot and edit 100% on phones. We use a Samsung and an iPhone. I am definitely going to check out Vlogit and Snapseed. I haven't heard of these two so I will definitely try them out. Great video and very knowledgeable for us phone only Youtubers💯👍
