I always do 150 grams of uncooked pasta which is around 500 calories. Anything under that is for little kids.

I still don’t get it I had around 1300 calories left for dinner so I made pasta 150 g uncooked they said it was 560calories or something maybe it was less I want to make sure coz it looks like a lot of food when it’s cooked is it or not I’m confused

Thing is, water has no calories, so you should be good just by weighting it before, it’s gonna have the same amount of calories because the weight it gains is from water and again WATER HAS NO CALORIES. I see how this can be a common problem for people, what I don’t see is how it takes them more than 30 seconds to realise that water (third time, let’s see if it sticks) has indeed, no calories, 😂
Pasta is mainly carbs and carbs are around 3kcal per gram. So cooked pasta is approximately 1.5* it’s weight in grams of Kcal (unless it has a filling like raviolis and such.)
