This was a huge surprise, and probably beneficial for women's cycling.
I have nothing against them, but the dominance of SD Worx makes races less entertaining.
I don't know if it was the crash that affected them, but this was a lot more fun race to watch than if Reusser, Vollering and Kopecky dominated proceedings.
I read that from 2028 there will be budget caps. Well done UCI, hopefully they'll be constructed in a way that the best riders would have to ride on different teams if they wanted to earn their full market value!
