National Media, Thanks for finally catching up to what we’ve been saying for years. Steeler fans have been scoffed at for years for even bringing this notion up by the National Media. The argument has been he does so much more with less; he is intimately involved in building these teams. Miss after miss in drafts, defense continues to fall apart year after year, no creative thoughts on offense. The Matt Canada hiring was a fire-able offense in itself..

Tomlin has no playoff wins in 14 of his 18 years as a head coach…. Let that sink in….

This guy is not afraid to say it, ask Mike if "he still has the team", "People are afraid to criticize Mike." This hit it on the nail head. Fact is the team has quit on him and there's really no other option but to make a change. Thanks for your honesty Mr. Patrick

It disappoints me Tomlin is putting the team in the position of having to fire him rather than him resigning.

Steelers fans in the ‘80s knew the game had passed by Chuck Noll. After four rings, he went 10 seasons without one. 23 years he coached the Steelers before he finally “retired.”Tomlin needs to do the same.

It baffles me that it took this long for people to question Tomlin at all, we here in Pittsburgh have been SCREAMING this for 7 years now. The media is so quick to call out mediocre or lackluster coaching, but they were never calling Tomlin out til now. He has a worse playoff record than Mike McCarthy, he’s in charge of personnel and hiring his coordinators. He’s never brought in coordinators himself that went on to be head coaches. He said Pickett was the guy and still brought in Trubisky, then threw them under the bus for Rudolph and then threw all them aside for Russ and Fields and somehow it’s not his problem when it comes to the roster? He wasn’t able to win with a championship with Ben, Bell, and Brown. Once all Cowhers core group of guys left or retired that’s when the mediocrity really set in. I’m not hating on him at all, it’s just the facts. We’ve been desperately calling him out since 2017 if not longer. Lambert, Bradshaw, and others don’t like him too. It’s mind blowing that it took this long.

I'd take Ben Johnson in a heart beat its time to get an offensive coach bring this team into today's football

Tomlin says "We don't want hostages, We want Volunteers" Steeler fans are held hostage by him not having a losing season. (6-73)in the 1st quarter in the playoffs the last 4 years, . Its time for change.

How many NFL head coaches survive long enough to go eight straight years with no playoff wins?

To the guy in the red hoody. Why should the steelers new coach have to win a playoff game his first season when Tomlin couldn't even do it with a team that won the sb 2 years prior?

Tomlin has only won a playoff game 4x in 18 years. He hasn't built a real contender since most of Cowher's players retired.

Steelers fans don't care what happens next. We just want the Tomlin era to end. Alot us would prefer a new coach and 5 years of Top 10 draft picks than one more Tomlin "winning season".

The sports media is afraid to say, "Tomlin should be fired." So afraid...

The Steelers are stuck in QB purgatory. They are good enough to compete in the regular season, but they are no threat in the playoffs. They have two choices, sell the farm and move up in a draft for a franchise QB or clean house do a 100% rebuild, endure a few losing seasons and build via the draft.

Tomlin’s coaching tree speaks for itself. He is not a coach, he is a manager.

Think about this. During this same stretch where Tomlin has not won a playoff game, the Jags have won 3 games during this same timeframe. One of the jags wins was against steelers with Blake Bortels as Jags QB. Tomlin would have been fired today if he was coach for any other team. He is Marvin Lewis 2.0. National media loves him for his sound bites and remarks.

It isn’t the “losing” in the playoffs. They get their doors blown off.
