Today we were joined by the Head of Department of Nuclear Medicine at Royal North Shore Hospital, Professor Paul Roach.
Prof Paul Roach discussed all things Nuclear Medicine (with the NECA Project Officer, Meredith Cummins) - including understanding the meaning of SUV, the difference between Ga68 (Dotatate) PET / CT Scan and FDG PET / CT – what is used when and why. He also spoke about PRRT (Lutate), some of the other radioisotopes and clinical trials. This was a very interactive event and there were lots of questions asked and great information given
