A warlock whose patron is their spouse or like, partially responsible the warlock's child for is actually a really interesting idea if done correctly.
Just imagine this party:
- Warlock dad
- Cleric step mother
- Sorcerer kid (aasimar or tiefling maybe)
- Patron "biological" mother who owns a portion of the kid's soul (split custody)
- Paladin uncle who is very confused about what this "family" is and how it came to be

I know I should have expected the crazy eyes at some point and I don't mind them at all (bonus even), she's just always had a sweet look in them it caught me off guard for a second
