A party cannot strip citizens from their Constitutional voting rights, or any other civil right to benefit that party.
It's about time to take the party to court, if it's proven that they did it to help that party's chance of winning elections.

This bill expanded early voting, extended voting hours, expands options for people without driver license (less than 3 percent of voters), and solidified mail drop boxes while ensuring they are located in secure locations. GA also allows utility bills or paychecks for those who struggle with ID, just like CO. GA also provides option for voter ID card which is offered for free. We got played by the media on this one.

Colorado also has no voting lines. Georgia has intentional 10+ hour voting lines, which somehow only happen in heavily Democratic Party voting areas. Hmmn.

The worst thing in the Georgia law is not voter suppression, but election nullification. The legislature can take over part or all of Georgia elections and toss out ballots as the mood strikes them. It won't matter who voted for what, the end result will be whatever the legislature wants it to be.

Georgia's law does not only accept a "photo ID from the government". They will accept the same thing she just said Colorado would. A state ID, pay stub, utility bill, etc. And if they don't even have that (which is nuts), they can simply put the last 4 of their SS#. That's it. Dishonest piece, wake up people.

Mail in voting restrictions and criminalizing food and water is ridiculous, but the worst part is how Georgia can basically control elections. The legislature can send 3/5 of the state election board and remove the secretary of state as the chair.

Rather than looking at regulations, how about looking at resources allocated per voter. In the education systems some white areas received $1.00 while black areas received 10 cents a student.

Why don't you see people standing in line to vote in any other countries?

Yea, GA really pass a 'fair' voting law. They made it easier to vote in rural counties (where most of the GQP vote) and harder to vote in urban counties ( Atlanta mostly Democrats), and if this wasn't enough, the GOP controlled state legislature can throw out the results if they don't win. Maybe the GQP wouldn't have to suppress voting if they would just come up with more popular ideas and policies. I just hope corporations starve GQP politicians for campaign contributions instead of just speaking out.
