Alienware X15 , high fan noise while Gaming

The laptop was returned because of high fan noise and 100 degrees on CPU all the time .

That's normal for a gaming laptop. Headphones help.

Wear earphones. I have the M17 R4 and the fans juice up on intensive games but it’s totally doable. It gets hot and the fans do their job. It’s a happy trade off for me. I’ve never had to stop what I’m doing due to overheating. It’s a high end laptop that does whatever a desktop does.

The X14 has this same issue. However, the fan doesn't get this loud when doing normal tanks such as using microsoft office or watching videos. It's only while gaming. Wear headphones.

You should buy headphones as its common for gaming laptop cooling fans to enter hypersonic mode

Doesn't sound terrible to be honest, although if you want to keep your laptop cool you need to elevate it so that the airflow is better.

Fans arent that loud on the x15. Compared to m15 r4. I can hear audio clearly at 60% volume.

Completely normal. I keep mine in performance all the time and does not bother me at all because I wear my XM5

I bought a stand to elevate mine. The fan is still loud, but I'm less concerned of overheating.
