Absolutely the best cover of an MBV song ever. Love how the most complicated shoegazing pedal rich noise can be reduced to a simple piano in a very beautiful rendition that captures the essence of the mood. It is so unfortunate that we have not seen a Memoryhouse music release in so long.

I love it. Saw that girl in Singapore doing this song and came her to check out who else had covered it. That a song that relied on so much compression and distortions can sould so good in such a simple rendition is a credit to MBV as songwriters.

From someone who was actually around in 1991 when Loveless came out and I was already a huge MBV fan (Isn't Anything cassette was living in my walkman for a year) I have to admit this cover is astonishingly good. The piano and slight reverb make it sound like a distant but eerily familiar memory. I'm not as much a fan of her voice over Biilinda's - but the quiet, understated beauty of this version make it stand out on its own. A transcendent, fitting tribute to a classic song.

bnugia2 was the account associated with the original upload of MBV's When you sleep, and had the most views on YouTube. He also had a lot of his own personal videos on there of himself and that. He passed away in 2018. I had known him for about 10yrs, hanging out consistently. Been through hell and back. I miss him every day.
Fuck you YouTube for taking his account down. It was my only way of seeing, hearing, and remembering really old times.
