These people are the folks who have never left their hometown for more than a week, once a decade. In other words, a vacation. Theyve never experienced life outside of their small towns, and that leads to their small minds. A man brags about getting $600 a month from gas royalties from a company, probably making $600, 000/month (or more) off that well. I get that it's free money, but $600/month won't even buy a new car. He's exposed to environmental containments and more than likely lessened his lifespan for $600/month and thinks it's a ton of cash. Im a union carpenter in western pennsyltucky and make that in 24 hours of work. He's more than likely bever traveled 3 hours from his home in 20 years. They have no clue what the world is like anywhere other than the town they were born, raised, and will die in. $600/month! You, sir, are a sucker that signed the first deal put in front of him for his gas royalties. That company is profiting at least 10, 000 times that a month. The dude has no idea how bad he's getting f'd. He actually brags about it.
