So this song connected to ‘listen before i go’ which is kind of like suicide letter story. I think in this song, she was talking about this guy she loved that literally cause the depression came to her life and leading to her committing suicide, actually crying on her funeral like he was in love with her.

“Its not true, tell me i’ve been lied to, crying isnt like you” she said that because she cant believe that this guy actually care about her while when she was alive, he never trully say how much he loves her.

“I wish we never learn to fly”. In this lyric, she tells us how she regret her decision to commit suicide after see how much that guy actually care about her.

But at the rest of the lyrics, she keep telling her self how much that guy didnt actually like her and refuse to think that the guy like her too so that she will not regreting her decision.

That’s my opinion.

Edit : Also if you listen closely to the background music, in ‘listen before i go’ which is at the end of the song, you can hear an ambulance siren, and at this song, you can hear the doctor speaking at the middle part of it. That’s pretty much how people notice that the two song were connected to each other.
