Fall (2022) is a survival thriller about two best friends, Becky and Hunter, who climb a 2,000-foot abandoned radio tower in the desert for an adrenaline rush. When part of the ladder breaks, they find themselves stranded with no way down, no phone signal, and limited supplies. As they struggle to survive, their friendship is tested, and they must find a way to escape before it's too late.

Best friends Becky and Hunter are thrill-seekers who enjoy extreme climbing. Becky has been struggling with depression since the tragic death of her husband, Dan, who fell during a climbing accident. Hunter convinces Becky to face her fears and join her in climbing a 2,000-foot abandoned radio tower in the desert. Though hesitant at first, Becky eventually agrees, hoping to find closure and regain her confidence.

The two reach the base of the tower and begin their ascent. As they climb, the ladder rungs are visibly old and rusted, but they continue, reaching the top successfully. After celebrating their accomplishment and capturing footage for Hunter’s social media followers, disaster strikes—the ladder collapses, leaving them stranded at the top with no safe way down.

Their phones have no signal at that height, and their supplies are limited. They attempt to send a distress message by lowering Hunter’s phone inside a shoe, but it doesn’t work. With no water and the scorching heat taking a toll, Becky begins to weaken. To make matters worse, a group of travelers who pass by below don’t notice their distress signals.

As hunger and dehydration set in, Becky discovers that Hunter has been hiding a painful secret—she had an affair with Dan before his death. Though hurt, Becky realizes their priority is survival. Hunter takes a daring risk by attempting to reach the drone they dropped on a satellite dish below, but in the process, she falls and is killed. Becky, in her deteriorating state, starts hallucinating and only later realizes Hunter has been dead for some time.

Determined to survive, Becky devises a desperate plan. She places a distress message in Hunter’s shoe, stuffs it inside her backpack, and drops it to the ground, hoping someone will find it. Just as she begins losing hope, her father, James, arrives with rescue personnel, having received her message. Becky is saved and finally gets closure over both Dan’s death and Hunter’s tragic fate.
