I'm beyond frustrated. I tried all of these fixes plus even more for weeks. I ran steam as an administrator, repaired my library, cleared the download cache, and verified the file integrity. I even went so far as to completely uninstall steam and all of my games, only for the same games I was having trouble with to continue not working. But the instant I find your video, running it in administrator mode for the 9th time somehow fixed the problem. I don't know why, and I don't know how. I am confused beyond belief and I will be spending a lot more time in the gym to vent this frustration.

Run steam as administrator solved this for me, don't know why i've used Steam for years and years and never had to do this!

yea i had the problem nothing worked so i did uninstall to try and redownload but now even when trying to reinstall the game i'm with hit missing file privileges. is there anything else i can do
