Fastboot Flash any Xiaomi Phone with Lock Bootloader

Hope this helps all those who want to flash there xiaomi phones on locked bootloaders as it helps to get from MIUI9 to MIUI8 easily.

Reading all the comments i really wonder how nobody notices that this guy just unlocked the bootloader by enabling oem-unlock..

we cannot give adb commands in fastboot mode..please clarify whether we need to give the adb reboot edl after rebooting?

Mi 10 miui version is not compatible and lock state. Can't reboot phone into system. Cannot fastboot flash using adb. Mi unlock show 36hours. This can settle?

flashd successfully but didn't chsnge previous miui.
using note 5ai (running miui 9.5.13 from xda) installed 9.6.3. but didn't change previous rom, just factory reset happend.
