TESTING THE SUREFEED MICROCHIP PET FEEDER | SVEN & ROBBIE

We tested the SUREFEED microchip feeder! As you may know, Sven suffers from allergies and he has developed lip sores. He has been on medication for the past few months and it has made him gain some weight. On top of that, Robbie is a really slow eater, so Sven basically eats both bowls of food. We decided to put the SUREFEED to the test and I must say that it works! Robbie now can eat as slow as he pleases without Sven stealing his food.

Just seeing you still using these 5 years later is a huge testimony. I will definitely look into getting them for my two.

Nice, the feeder origin video! Robbie at the start is killing me!

Just a suggestion. Lift the feeders off the floor a few inches on a stable surface. It’s better for their backs and shoulders especially in older cats. ♥️ btw you guys are all adorable

Still finding these treasures of Youtubes most entertaining cats. Sven and Robbie
; scooping action by Sven 😂 my cats use their forks if they get meatball style food or play ping pong with it getting sauce everywhere.

I’ve just bought two tonight for £140 British Pounds & will be delivered tomorrow 😊 I really do hope my two babies ( Snow Leopard Bengals ) won’t run away the minute they hear the door opening lol. Thank you for this video, it’s helped me a lot to understand this product.

Spot on with the comment about the batteries! Also, who the heck has C batteries just hanging around the house? They could have chosen a more common battery at least if they're not going to include them.

Thank you for the review, it was great to see it in action. Also the fact how the Train mode can help if a cat is scared. :) We have 7 cats (we're otherwise quite normal, thank you :D) and some have specific diets, others are like hoovers for food and steal others' food so having 7 of these would make the 'feeding management' so much easier. I just wish there was a discount when buying more of them. :D 7 feeders will make a dent in our budget. I think I'll just buy one to test how they react and go from there.

I agreee on the battery thing. Nacho is still nervous but it’s going ok

It's seriously weird that they require batteries, instead of just using a power cord. Why not an option for either one?

Thank you for your review. Which model was this? Three years later are these feeders still operating?

Aww I love Robbie so much he is so cute! And those pet feeders are so cool! I have a chunky cat too and he likes to eat the food from everyone else so this would be really good for him haha. Love the video!

To the C battery haters: C batteries have a larger capacity than AA batteries. Although both batteries are the same voltage (1.5 volts DC per battery), the higher capacity of C batteries makes them more suitable for powering devices require more power for operation, like, say, the motor that opens and closes the lid on the feeder.
I don't look forward to stocking C batteries for only the feeders, but I won't grouse -- much.

Can be registered two pets for one bowl? I am interested in buying one for my gets, but just to avoid the dog to eat their food.

16 lbs? Callas, my rescued Bombay weighed 15 lbs. Vet sold me Science Diet "diet" canned food. She ate more food. A couple years later, she lost weight on her own, around 11 lbs.

This was recommended this morning by our vet. My cat Charlie and I seem to have an interloper cat who appears late at night and steels Charlie's food. Neither of us minded but on Saturday night the interloper attacked Charlie and sunk his sharp teeth into Charlie's hind leg. Ouch. Poor Charlie is miserable. So... The feeder arrives tomorrow (with batteries)... And we are going to give this a go. With the idea being that the interloper won't be able to eat Charlie's food and will become disinterested and bugger off. Fingers crossed. Charlie is an old man who is gentle and just wants a quiet life.
