We recently had a new unit installed. I noticed that the run cycle time only lasts 7-9 minutes. Initially, I wonder if maybe the unit is too large, but then I also wonder if maybe these new units are designed to run for a shorter run cycle times than the older ones. It is a single stage unit. There’s no problem with cooling, just humidity reading in the 60s according to the smart thermostat. Does the 7-9 minute run cycle time seem normal?
