Simple syrup is just equal quantities sugar and water warmed up on the stove until the sugar dissolves and the mixture slightly thickens :) This has worked for me

Ex. 1 cup sugar + 1 cup water
2 cup sugar + 2 cup water
cup sugar + n cup water

its called simple syrup just google it for the quantities, its just sugar (or any sweetener you want) and water
