The best way to learn Python part 2: Install Anaconda on Windows

Welcome to the best way to learn Python!

What you learn in these tutorials will be applicable to both Python 2.7 and Python 3.3+.

Now that we have Anaconda installed, lessons from here on will be more or less universally applicable on all operating systems.

When I enter ipython notebook  in anaconda command prompt it directs me to ipython notebook but I can not create new notebook.

Update: don't use windows powershell in windows 8, but cmd by hitting the windows key + x and cmd as administrator. Then it works. ;)

When I type in ipython notebook after installing it under window 8, opening the Windows PowerShell it says, that it doesn't even know the command.
I kept all the default settings of the installation checked, just like he said.

The path is not working for me. what is the "cd" mean. [edit: in the terminal cd mean 'Change Directory']
