A Tribute to Mags & Morten - “Brother” by Morten Harket.
It’s been a few months since I’ve posted anything because I’ve been very busy and inactive with editing. I’ve decided to branch out what it is that I edit these days and to explore more genres. I might not be posting super consistently still, but I’ll try to get around to it sometimes. Be prepared to see lots of edits from very different “fandoms” if you will. I might experiment with more movie franchises, tv shows, and even real life people like this one. Stick with me and see where I go, because right now I don’t really know either!
This edit is dedicated to two members of my favorite band, a-ha. Magne Furuholmen is the keyboardist (and sometimes guitarist) of the band, and Morten Harket does vocals. a-ha is a Norwegian band that formed in 1982, and have broken up twice, in 1994 and 2009. They are most famous for their 80s hit “Take On Me” (but they have a plethora of other top notch songs). There is another member of the band, Paul Waaktaar-Savoy. a-ha is semi-together now and perform occasionally. They are going to be releasing more music this fall. I recommend checking out a-ha music if you’re into classic synth-pop. They’re amazing, and I’ve always admired the deep brotherly love between Morten and Mags. After 40 years of working together, they still have a close connection. So please enjoy my tribute to two of the best musicians in pop history.
