My heart says Continental GT, my back says Interceptor.

I simply tell others... for years all manufactures built a 650 Twin.. BSA, , , Triumph, Yamaha.... and many others... Royal Enfield produced the 650 the others wanted to make. 😎

I lust over the Comtinental GT, coming from a Supersport rider! Royal Enfield has gained my respect! Beautiful, fun and affordable! 👍🏽

I’m a 5’8” 65 year old woman who rides a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. Coming from years of road bicycling I find the riding position of the GT perfect. Slightly forward but not with my chest on the tank, so the shift in body weight makes the bikes center of gravity feel more secure than a straight upright position. And a feet forward position (super meteor) makes me feel out of control with a bike.

One word, Interceptor. Not even a question. It is definition of a motorcycle.

Taking delivery of my Shotgun 650 this weekend. The Shotgun is perfect for people like me that live in the central U.S. where most of our roads are straight lines, but there are some hidden gems of riding roads where something a bit more sporty makes it fun.

Last month I bought a Royal Enfield Continental GT650 in Rocker Red. I think it looks beautiful.

Wish I was man enough to “downgrade” to a Shotgun. Cool bike and I love that modular seat system. 👍🏻👍🏻

I am excited about the 650 scrambler, if done right, that would be my pick.

Interceptor is one for everyone, a proper motorbike of our time. That is the best one of any road. Priced best as well. A proper gentleman motorbike.

Have never heard of a single problem with the 650 engine.
Gearbox problems quite common on the Triumph twins.

I have owned an Interceptor since April 2021, have modified it as I want, and love it. A good review that did not make me regret my choice. I do like the Super Meteor too but feel that the Interceptor could be made more like this bike without the extra weight Good vid.

This was so comprehensive Bob, it should be a marketing video for RE. Which in reality, , it is. Good 👍 job..
The Conti is beautiful, , but the Shotgun is obviously the most versatile.
I'd have to call Shotgun 💯.

Why can’t the manufacturer give us a belt drive instead of chain on these low power bikes? I get the reason on sport and off road bikes, but if you want to tour and do big miles the maintenance on the chain is a pain. Harley has used belts for decades and they require minimal attention. All the best!

Shotgun looking good! Meteor was my old favorite 😍

I’d love the super meteor blacked out. Love the shot gun look but want the design to be more cruiser. Other than blackout, my mods would be bar end mirrors, led turn indicators, bags and maybe a medium-ish windscreen. Another gadget I love: keyless ignition.

I ride the GT and am in love with it, but I test rode the Super Meteor last month and was mightily impressed.
Thank you for the detailed comparison; it really made me consider the Shotgun more seriously.
I don't think anyone can go wrong with this selection of bikes: Royal Enfield have made an incredible parallel twin that is proving to be their signature.

We buy Royal Enfields in India because there's no other cheap or better alternative for a good looking classic retro bike, with semi decent reliability, quality and service. But why tf would you ever want to buy an Enfield if you live in the EU, UK or US. There are so many alternatives for the bike. In all the categories.
