My 8 year old son got a arrma big rock for Christmas and I took him out to go driving... he says " Dad you wanna try it " I start driving it and he says " Dad, this is the best day ever " ... Right back to the hobby shop to get another one.. we're not trying to win trophies, but most the time we win smiles and laughs and good time's! I'm really glad you shared your story .

AE, TLR, Kyosho etc etc, need a person like you to go out and do what you do on this channel. I like it how you go I drove this car but your more concerned about the RC community and helping and not about the brand. I'm a hardcore AE dude but all power to you and this channel as a learning tool for anybody novice to expert. Well done Ryan hope you enjoy your TLR time period. If you are ever in Australia Ryan come to Bathurst NSW we have a small club were our #1 rule is have fun and support each other to make racing enjoyable.

RC brands need to get into High Schools. The hobby will explode!

My son and I have watched a lot of your video's Ryan. He just turned 6 so I took him to our local track (MHOR RC Raceway) and he couldn't have been more excited. Your a great ambassador for the brands you represent. I bought him a Losi 22 5.0 elite, HW ESC, and Revtech motor and he had a great time at Sunday practice. Thanks again for all you do for the hobby.

I'm just getting into the RC Hobby after many many years of being going. I was gone so long that I had no clue to where to even start. The local rc shop/club was so helpful and they all run Losi/TLR. The sponsored TLR guys that attend the local club races are so helpful to the point that I feel like I am bothering them but they are still there helping/mentoring me and I feel truly blessed to be so welcomed.

Nico learned a lot from you, Lee, and Kenny this weekend at SS Hobbies & Raceway! You are absolutely the ambassador this hobby needs and TLR is lucky to have you Ryan!

I have to admit. I was bummed to hear you switched from AE. Because I have learned a lot from your videos. And currently have all AE cars. Unfortunately I dont have the best support in my local area. I have only been racing for about a year and aren't to keen on asking for help when racing. When I do get help the jibber jabber they are saying i dont understand. I couldn't even tell you what I need out of my car currently. I spent about a thousand dollars to build a track in my back yard and am going to work my hardest to learn. You and your videos give me the drive to do so. Thank you and keep the set up info coming and inspiration. Have a Merry Christmas.

Ryan you’re top notch for the RC world, I run tekno, but got into your videos simply due to the fact that they are fantastically edited. Some of the best on YouTube ...no matter what we run as long as it is for the love of the sport...we all win. #goteamTekno;)

I found your channel a few days back and I subbed you. I took a 14 year hiatus from the hobby. Now that my oldest son is seven now, he has become interested in R/C somewhat. I used to run 1/8 scale gas buggies for fun, but I’m looking to get into the electric scene now. I appreciate your time and your information that you provide.

Hello Ryan, first let me say how well spoken you were in this video and even though the video is from 2 years ago, the things you spoke of I highly respect. Our son is 16 now and he entered his first novice race over Memorial Day weekend ‘22 and he had a blast. He did very well and finished with TQ and 3rd in the main. This hobby has allowed us to spend more time together at the track and I hope he keeps up his interest in the hobby. Thank you for the video.

Father/Son racing is tough to beat. I miss my Dad so mu. He taught me so much about cars, wrenching, driving, support, sacrifice and how to conduct myself in competitive situations. Great video!

Honestly my friend....good luck with whatever you do but don't try too hard!!! You don't have to have big time support to have an impact on this hobby....you're already making a positive impact on our hobby!!!
Have fun...don't be so serious....toy car my friend....😁

I got into RC racing last year and your videos are what I used to learn and understand the hobby. I have no doubts that your new stuff will be even better. You should do a Budget Buggy Build!!

Bro, your heart is big and in the right place! My dad supported my “racing career” when I was boy (I had a Tamiya Fox ;) and now I race and support my son! Legacy. It’s important we pass that along to loved ones and the people our the hobby. Great video. Love your heart.

I love your thinking! Club racing is the most important aspect of the hobby and tends to get forgotten about or brushed off as not significant enough to worry about. Club racing is what grows the hobby and builds the next generation of drivers and enthusiasts!
