Gerani (Γεράνι in Greek) is a small town in the North Western edge of the island of Crete in Greece. The village is close to Platanias and Maleme and 14 kilometers from the city of Chania. Gerani has a vivid tourism sector with a nice sandy beach and comfortable hotels. The beache of Gerani has a blue flag. The town has approximately 1,200 permanent residents and is part of the municipality of Platanias.

3:16 I might be silly for getting emotional over this but that is the exact hotel where I stayed on my first ever travel abroad back in 2000. I can vividly remember that place and I often long to go back there. I am so happy to see it again!!
