After the interview I got the feeling that Algorand is APPLE, Ethereum is Android, Bitcoin is Napster. The COO really played up how "straight edge" they will be which makes me think he sees regulation coming down hard.

Often not mentioned about Algorand is unlike many chains like Bitcoin, a lot of equity is lost to the consumption of electricity and hardware like mining machines(asic)one way decentralization is comprised is for example the software needed to run eth2.0 for staking. Layer2 solutions also greatly centralize these protocols. Algorand solves so many issues with other chains
