The subtitles in this episode should be corrected a little. That’s because Kokusen doesn’t multiply the power of an attack by 2.5. It actually exponentially increases the attack to the power of 2.5.

For example, the difference is that:

5 multiplied by 2.5 is 12.5.
5 to the power of 2.5 is 55.90.
