It's been great to see Hunter x Hunter (2011) ends its run in the English Dub, at least, Gundam is back!

It's like a decade of Sin by Toonami is being wiped clean. I still remember when Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Team, and Mobile Suit Gundam were pulled from prime time hours after school because of the up coming war in Iraq. I still remember how Gundam 0080 and 0083 despite being edited/censored to be suitable for prime time hours had to be played past midnight, and later Adult Swim. I remember to get Gundam back on prime time they had to release G Gundam, the only none war focused Gundam anime. Then Gundam Superior Defenders. They finally tried to get another war focused Gundam anime on Cartoon Network during hours their audience would be available to watch, and that was Gundam Seed, but to be allowed it had to be so badly censored that it became a meme, before memes existed. Seriously google Gundam Seed and Censorship. Sunrise/Bandai gave up on Cartoon Network, and Toonami, when Gundam 00 came out, it was on the Scifi Channel, but what chance did it have their only being played once a week past midnight on Mondays? As a long time fan, I kind of felt betrayed by Cartoon Network, and how they treated this franchise. I find it, not a coincidence that Gundam has been returning to Cartoon Network in a big way, only after the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have all but died off, and fallen out of the public eye.

The only downside is the time slot. I usually go to sleep after 12 or 1. Mainly because I have church or work in the morning. Luckily I can just watch it online
