A pop filter and the tiniest amount of sound deadening and you have my dream setup! It sounds incredibly professional!!! So soothing.

The 2020 is a classic for good reason. If you or anyone gets curious about other options, the channel you want to check out is Podcastage

The title almost had me thinking you acquired an IBM PC AT in 2020.

I've been considering upgrading from my trusty Blue Snowball I've had for about 6 years to an XLR microphone as well. This setup looks like a good upgrade, I'll be sure to take these devices into consideration. 😊

I too have this interface, and if you want to better customize the sound that comes out of your mic via EQ, look into something called Equalizer APO. I've been able to make my voice sound a bit less tinny using it through mine and my MXL 990, and you may want to consider getting a 1/4 adapter if you need to and using this as a sound card too for editing-this has a really solid neutral sound profile that with the right kind of headphones (I have a set of beyerdynamic DT 770 80 Ohm cans) can make editing sound for a video or podcast a breeze. I EQed it a bit in EQ APO, but that's a user option. Otherwise, good video, and good part selection!

Considering the type of videos on the channel, this audio setup is great. The phone camera quality looks good to me, colors and brightness are all in check. The upgrade to a better camera would mostly be aimed at having a crisper image, since the rest is usually on point.

I'm not a streamer, but I really dig this video, man. I've been known to enjoy analog to digital audio preservation - "if/when" (lol) there's free time; I always appreciate tips & suggestions to make my methods better. Great video, indeed. 🍻

for the audio think, you should of gone for a GoXLR or a mini version due to it being better and more easy(er) if you do not know how to use one like that _(it also has background phantom power that comes with the GoXLR or the mini verson)_

Thanks for this video, it answered a very simple question that I somehow couldn't find an answer for online- which is if you need a male to female XLR cable for my particular setup. Glad to know now that the mic itself needs a male input, thanks!

I own a AT2020. I hear the USB version is decent if you're planning to cut corners (why would you do that anyways?), though, you might need a decent mixer with to go with this. I have a pretty basic mixer from Behringer with 1 channel and RCA audio, it's okay, but I would get a bigger mixer, say if were planning to do livestreams and record games. Otherwise, I love the AT2020, it served me well after upgrading from a Blue Yeti.

That is fantastic! I’ve looked at picking up the ATR-2100 but now I’m thinking this might work for me.
