Hinode Telescope Captures Mercury Transit | Video
Показать описание
On May 9th, 2016 Hinode tracked Mercury on its transit across the sun using this telescope.
The apparent wobble of Mercury’s path in front of the sun is an optical effect, called parallax, caused by Hinode’s changing perspective as it orbits the Earth.
